1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, subscribing to, or using MilesPay ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

MilesPay is operated in the United States.

2. Description of Service

MilesPay is a financial tracking tool designed to help independent drivers and small operators record expenses, paycheck information, and related financial activity.

MilesPay is not accounting software, not tax preparation software, not legal advice, and not financial advisory services.

The Service is provided for informational and organizational purposes only.

3. No Financial, Tax, or Legal Advice

MilesPay does not provide tax, accounting, financial, or legal advice.

Any summaries, exports, reports, or CSV files generated by the Service are for informational purposes only.

You are solely responsible for tax filings, IRS submissions, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and business decisions.

MilesPay shall not be liable for tax penalties, filing errors, audits, incorrect classifications, financial losses, or damages arising from your use of the Service.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, ensuring the accuracy of the data you enter, and backing up your own financial records.

You agree not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt to interfere with the Service.

5. Payments and Subscription

MilesPay is a subscription-based service.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe, Inc. (https://stripe.com).

MilesPay does not store full credit card information, does not control Stripe's payment processing systems, and is not responsible for declined payments, chargebacks, processing errors, or disputes handled by Stripe.

Your use of Stripe is subject to Stripe's own terms and privacy policies.

6. Data Storage and Availability

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and security safeguards to protect your data.

However, no system is completely secure, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, we do not guarantee permanent data retention, and you are responsible for maintaining your own backups.

MilesPay shall not be liable for data loss, service interruptions, corruption, or technical failures.

7. Intellectual Property

All software, branding, design, and content associated with the Service are owned by MilesPay.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, reverse engineer, distribute, or exploit any portion of the Service without written permission.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

Upon termination, we may delete your account and associated data.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MILESPAY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Use of the Service is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MilesPay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost business, lost data, tax penalties, or financial losses.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to MilesPay in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
